How to delete your Kindoc account
You can delete your account and its data at any time, from the app, from the web, or by email. Kindoc is run by JartaApps, who is responsible for your data.
In the app
- Open Kindoc and go to Profile.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
On the web
- Sign in at https://app.kindochealth.com with the same account.
- Open Profile, choose Delete account and confirm.
By email
If you cannot sign in, write to support@kindochealth.com from the email address of your account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours. We delete it within one month and tell you when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your account and profile, and the record of your consent.
- Every consultation, with its messages, photos, PDF documents, replies, visit summary and check-in.
- You and everyone you added, with your health records, the history of the changes to them, and the team's notes.
- The copies of the replies you reported.
- Everything else stored under your account, such as your plan, daily counts and devices.
- Your purchase history with our payments provider, RevenueCat.
- The check-ins scheduled on the device where you delete your account are cancelled. A check-in scheduled on another device is cancelled the next time Kindoc opens there.
- If you signed in with Apple and delete your account in the iPhone or iPad app, Kindoc's access to your Apple ID is revoked. If you delete it on Android or on the web, remove Kindoc yourself: on an iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Sign in with Apple, choose Kindoc and stop using your Apple ID with it (or do the same at account.apple.com).
What we keep
- Copies in our database provider's daily backups: for up to 7 days. Photos and documents are not in them.
- Usage data (the events the app sent while usage data was shared, and the profile our analytics provider, PostHog, keeps for them): for up to 7 years, the retention period of our PostHog plan (PostHog's retention periods). It carries your account's random identifier, never your email, your name, your messages or the health information you entered. To have it deleted too, write to us.
- Crash and error reports in our error reporting service, Sentry: for at most 90 days (Sentry's retention periods).
- The details OpenRouter, which connects Kindoc to the AI model, keeps about each request (such as its time and the model), without the messages, photos, documents or replies.
- Apple's and Google's own records of your App Store or Google Play purchases, under their policies.
- Records the law requires us to keep, such as tax and accounting records, for as long as it requires.
Delete only some of your data
You can also delete parts of your data and keep your account:
- A consultation: open it, open its menu and choose Delete consultation. Its messages, photos, documents, summary and check-in are deleted. What the team noted or saved to a health record during it stays until you delete it.
- A person you added: in Profile, open People, choose the person and Remove them. Their consultations, health record and notes are deleted.
- A health record entry: on the person's page, open the entry and choose Delete.
- The team's notes: on the person's page, choose Forget next to a note, or Forget all notes.
Cancel your subscription first
Active subscriptions are not cancelled automatically; cancel them in the store or account where you bought them. Do it before you delete your account, or they keep renewing.
